Due to temporary movement restrictions imposed by the arrival of blue tongue in the UK we were limited to the number of shows we could attend in 2008. The BAS Spring Show was the only event where we exhibited our alpacas in that year but we could not be more thrilled with the results!

Unable to make the British Alpaca Futurity in person last year I was pleased to hear that my fawn hand spun huacaya skein had been awarded third place in the newly created Alpaca Fibre Craft Competition at the British Alpaca Futurity 2009! When competing against some very experienced and proficient spinners I was delighted with the outcome!
