Yarn
New Stock just arrived! 100% Willowbrook Farm pure Alpaca Yarn. All of our alpaca wool comes from the animals here on our farm. Created from a blend of white and fawn fibre to produce a natural, non-dyed 'champagne' coloured wool. Available in Double Knit 50g balls.
It is beautifully warm, soft and silky, and has a sheen that makes it perfect for a baby to wear against their skin or anyone else!

Our yarn is spun with two strands of alpaca wool (white and fawn blended in the carding process) and is a true Double Knit weight, which will knit up to most DK patterns. It comes in 50g (1.76 ounce) balls. Hand wash and dry flat.

We farm alpacas of different colours with the aim of selectively breeding to improve the fleece characteristics of all of them. Alpaca is one of the most versatile, and highly prized of all fine fibres and comes in at least 22 recognised colours from white to black, and everything in-between! This makes it unique and we believe it is particularly special as there is no need for the use of environmentally damaging and harsh dyes. This is why we only supply 100% natural knitting yarn created from the fleece taken from our own animals. We avoid using dyes in many of our products, with the objective of developing our range to ultimately provide only naturally coloured, simple and adaptable designs. Alpaca is lightweight, does not pill or ball like some other luxury fibres, and does not crease easily. Ideal for allergy sufferers and babies alike, it is free from lanolin making it hypo-allergenic |
