Willowbrook Flossy  SOLD

Flossy is a delightful, solid fawn, maiden female huacaya alpaca. Her fleece is a dazzling golden colour, and is extremely bright, with a high frequency crimp style. It is both very dense and highly organised, with great coverage, structure and length.

In addition to her lovely fleece, Flossy has a charming temperament. Her sire and dam both have an amenable nature, and are easy to manage. Flossy has appeared to have inherited this characteristic; is friendly, and will trustingly approach for a scratch!

Her pedigree is comprised of many generations of reliable and proven forebears. On her sire’s side her blood line includes, EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus, EP Cambridge Peruvian Caesar, and Jolimont Gianmarco (one of the most decorated males in the Australian show ring, who sold for a record $150,000 for a half share!). On her dam’s side she has strong coloured breeding with blood lines that include, Daer Enah’s Streslecki of EPC, Popham Thunder, Lillyfield Jack of Spades of Inca, EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus, EP Cambridge Strike Gold and Snowmass Sizlin Hot.

Flossy is true to type with a compact frame, strong bone, short nose and pretty head. Her conformation is correct, and she has a strong frame with a broad chest and hind quarters.

Willowbrook Alpacas Autumn Spirit  SOLD

Autumn Spirit is a sweet natured, very well bred, young dark brown huacaya female. Her pedigree derives from many renowned and respected names in alpaca breeding such as EP Cambridge Peruvian Caesar (Aust.), EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus, Accoyo Killawasi, and EP Cambridge Discovery.

She has a good depth of coloured breeding in her background, and her sire, Willowbrook Alpacas High Five, is a solid dark brown son of the illustrious ‘Snowmass Sizlin Hot’. He has successfully passed on many positive fleece traits to his first daughter from his proven genetic line. His 2nd fleece statistics taken at 1 year and 11 months of age were: MFD: 18.6 microns, S.D. 4.2, Fibres over 30 microns: 1.78.

Her solid brown dam is one of our favourite females, coming herself from a long line of show winning ancestors. Her full sister, daughter of the Supreme Champion ‘Valley Alpacas The Diplomat’ was awarded two firsts and Champion Brown female when she was shown as a Junior. She bestowed this quality to her own prize-winning offspring, and we plan to show Autumn this season, if not snapped up in the interim!

Autumn has very good conformation, and a lovely soft handling, buttery fleece. It is very fine, but also dense, with a high level of organisation, a very high frequency crimp style, good coverage and colour uniformity. She is growing well, and we anticipate she would be ready to breed towards the end of this year, or at the beginning of the next breeding season.

Valley Alpacas Sovereign Gold  SOLD

Valley Alpacas Sovereign Gold is a young, solid light brown huacaya female. She is a Champion daughter of Supreme Champion, and sire of Supreme Champions, 'Valley Alpacas The Diplomat.' Her lineage comprises many of the well known greats, including EP Cambridge Spartacus, EP Cambridge Peruvian Caesar, and Jolimont Conquistador. Atlantic Henrietta, Goldie’s dam, has produced several male offspring of stud quality. One full brother was Reserve Champion Brown male at the NSS in 2014, and a half sibling Elpenor (same dam) was exported to France where he was awarded Champion Brown male at the Salbris show in 2013; so quality resonates throughout her family tree.

Sovereign Gold has bred two male offspring, one solid brown and one solid fawn, both with breeding potential. Her brown son, Valley Alpacas Whiskey Mac, was 1st Junior Brown male at the National Halter Show in 2016. He was Reserve Champion Brown male at the Devon County Show in 2016, and 1st Intermediate Brown male and Reserve Champion Brown male at the North Devon Halter Show in 2016.

Goldie as she is more affectionately known, is particularly intelligent, and is always interested in anything that may be happening around her! The quality of her breeding is supported by her pleasing show record. Her fleece is solid in colour, with a good level of organisation and high frequency crimp style. She is halter trained and easy to handle, and has made a fantastic mother.

Sovereign Gold was served in the summer of 2018 by Willowbrook High Five, a solid dark brown son of 'Snowmass Sizlin Hot', who requires no introduction! High Five has a good depth of high quality brown and black breeding in his ancestry, and both sides of his pedigree feature many show winning names. His full siblings have performed extremely well in the show ring, with one sister winning Champion Brown fleece at the National Fleece Show with a score of 80.5 points; just a whisker behind the Supreme Champion white fleece! His full brother is a working male with his own prize winning progeny. High Five is a proven male with his first two gorgeous female offspring arriving this year. Born to brown dams, one cria was solid brown and the other was bay black, so my expectation is for a dark coloured cria from this pairing.
